Handmade With Love.
Given With Purpose.

Anndy Cap's was born from the dream and heart of Anndrea Berry, whose lifelong passion for crochet inspired a mission of comfort and compassion. While Anndrea envisioned the purpose behind every stitch, her husband helped bring that vision to life by building the nonprofit structure, outreach, and operational foundation that allows Anndy Cap's to serve the community today.

Our Mission

Born From a Love of
Craft & Community

Anndy Cap's was founded by Anndrea Berry — a woman with a lifelong passion for crochet and an even deeper calling to use that talent in service of others. Anndrea didn't just love to crochet; she wanted every stitch she made to mean something. She wanted her handwork to find its way to people who needed warmth — not just physically, but emotionally.

While Anndrea created the heart and vision behind Anndy Cap's through her love of crochet and desire to comfort others through handmade gifts, her husband helped bring that vision to life — building the nonprofit structure, outreach, and operational foundation that allows Anndy Cap's to serve the community today.

Together, the Berry family transformed that dream into a functioning nonprofit organization dedicated to serving cancer patients, families in crisis, and communities in need. Not born from tragedy — born from love, from craft, and from a heart that wanted to give.

From that vision, Anndy Cap's became a registered California nonprofit dedicated to providing handmade crochet caps and comfort items to cancer patients, individuals experiencing hair loss, unhoused community members, and anyone walking through a season of hardship.

Built With Love By Family

Anndrea has crocheted for years — not for profit, but for purpose. When she asked herself how she could use her gift to serve others, the Berry family came together to build something bigger than any one person. Every cap represents compassion, teamwork, and purpose — and every cap that leaves Anndy Cap's carries their care in every stitch.

Every Cap Carries Intention

Each cap is carefully crocheted by hand — not mass-produced, not purchased. Every stitch carries warmth, intention, and love for the person who will receive it.

In Loving Memory

Ivee Rene Berry

November 24 – December 21, 2023 · Forever in Our Hearts

Anndy Cap's was already underway — built on Anndrea's love of crochet and her heart to serve — when our family experienced one of the most profound losses imaginable. Our granddaughter, Ivee Rene Berry, came into this world on November 24, 2023, and left it on December 21, 2023.

Twenty-seven days. Twenty-seven days that left an imprint on everyone who knew her or knew of her story. Her brief life, and the experience of watching her family navigate the devastating reality of HIE, made our mission feel even more urgent, more personal, and more necessary than ever.

Ivee did not define why Anndy Cap's was founded — but she became woven into its soul. Every cap we make, every family we reach, every awareness ribbon we carry forward — she walks with us.

💛
"Though her time was brief, her presence was eternal. She is woven into every stitch."
— The Berry Family

About HIE: Hypoxic-Ischemic Encephalopathy occurs when a baby's brain is deprived of oxygen around the time of birth. It is one of the most serious birth complications — affecting thousands of newborns each year, often with lifelong consequences. We raise awareness so fewer families walk this road alone.
